Would Jesus bleed for this new Creed?

In Canada, where the church has little gospel focus, comes a new creed:

“We believe in Jesus of Nazareth, who is our brother, who wants not to be idolized but to be followed. We believe that we dwell in the presence of the Holy Spirit; without her we are nothing;…”

– a prayer used as a creed at the recent Anglican Church of Canada’s Toronto Youth Synod.

In the Comments section, tell us what is wrong with the Creed, what is missing, what is lacking? Start with the obvious!

This creed seems off the mark in its very foundations.
Well I'm glad they believe in Jesus of Nazareth, who is not a brother but God the Son (the bridegroom for the church). Jesus should be the only one we idolize and follow. It should be something we crave and want to achieve everyday. We do this by the confession of our sins and in return the blood of Jesus washes this away so we are blemish free before God. Yes we do dwell in the holy spirit but it is without Jesus that we are nothing. The sprit (pentecost)& Jesus death is what was given by God so we could have relationship with God, the holy spirit is there to guide and convict us of sin.

The Holy Spirit is a girl?

In the old testament, when you look at it translated directly from the original Hebrew, they use the world Shekinah to talk about the Holy Spirit, and Shekinah is a female word. So yes, the Holy Spirit is female!
